2004 through 2006

Conditioned Minds traces its inception back to 2000 when Rodney Zimmerman, an ex-professional basketball player, began his youth career development with Woodcraft Rangers as a Program Manager at Manual Arts High School.  The next years showed steady growth of student participation in the Building Excellence in Education Program building up to 250 active participants.  Rodney relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and opened Conditioned Minds, an interactive training program designed to help athletes ages 8 - 18 focus on future goals and tasks.  This new beginning was a challenge for Rodney and Conditioned Minds.  By 2006, Conditioned Minds had a steady stream of personal training clients as well as it's first established camp in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

 2006 through 2008

Conditioned Minds had begun to recognize the value of being a true multi-faceted, full service leadership development program.  In 2007 Conditioned Minds turned the corner and offered it's services to families and non-athletes.  Rodney brought together the concept of structured process vs. result curriculums designed to help young and old develop stronger listening, communication, and team building skills.  2007 was a period of considerable growth and progress.  Conditioned Minds expanded its services into California by hosting leadership camps during the summer. 

The company sought to increase its participation numbers through partnerships.  In 2008 Conditioned Minds partnered with Emory University to provide personal training services and corporate clinics on the University campus.  Conditioned Minds also partnered with Ta'K Notice Fashion in an effort to provide free shoes to camp registrants.  Now more than ever there was an ongoing effort to grow the specialty services offered to insure that Conditioned Minds could represent clients’ needs at almost any level.  Unique strategies were created and implemented to guarantee a continued interest in the program.

 2009 – Today 

In 2009 Conditioned Minds continued partnerships and expansion into Colorado and.  Conditioned Minds continues to be chosen as an excellent co-pilot in the direction of each young person.  As Rodney Zimmerman stated in 2006, "today is tomorrow’s history for Conditioned Minds, but every step along the way must leave an imprint to its legacy.  Success can be an epidemic if we try."  Rodney has begun the next phase of Conditioned Minds by offerring school preseason team clinics, corporate training clinics, and school administrative clinics.
